I prefer the extra stout myself....

I was in Telluride this past weekend for the Blues and Brews Festival. Who woulda thunk that beer and live music could go together so well?
We drove by some mountains in between Telluride and Montrose that looked just like the mountains on the Coors can. That's about the only good thing I can say about Coors.

Now I actually prefer American Light beer. Give me a MGD 64 or Hell even a cheaper beer ala NAtty Light and I'm good.

To be fair to Coors, it's more about the novelty than actual usefulness. They're trying to get people to buy it so they can make fun of it and laugh about it and it seems to work.

guinness may be nearer to coors in alcoholic content and such but you can't drink as many guineses in pints as you could coors due to the the desity of the guinness please remember that guinness is a stout and doesn't have stupid fizzy little bubbles in it like coors and that sort of crap, which mean you have less air in your drink, basically.
me? i would have guinness over lager or 'beer' any day
Here's my fav. When out and about hav'n hot wings I will drown them with Bud Light. I have to drive 300 miles to Dallas to get Fat Tire though.

HA thanks.
I call what I'm drinking an improvement.
My stomache can't handle heavier stuff anymore. From 18-24. I used to be a heavy drinker. I was in the hard stuff like whiskey/burbon and drinking yeungling, dos equis, more darker lager beers.
Literally every night go out drinking to black out, it was bad.
Can't drink rum anymore bc of it.
That's why I switched to lighter beer. I enjoy the taste or lack there of, easier on the stomache and being a family/married man (cheaper on the wallet).

And living in the heart of the biggest Hop growing area in the US(my best friend supplies nearly all of the hops for Sierra Nevada)we get some pretty good stuff around here.

There has been a craft brewery explosion in this city in the past few years, and it's pretty amazing. I still drink Bud Light at concerts/sporting events, but it's so easy to find local and even nationally distributed beer at bars all over the place.

One bar has 480 bottled beers and 40 draughts.
We have two "warehouse" type stores called Randall's and Friar Tuck that carry just about every beer, liquor, and wine known to man.
I can even get a lot of harder to find imports at my local chain grocery stores.
For me there is a time and a place for everything. I'll still be drinking Busch cans while I'm on a float trip instead of La Fin Du Monde.
Well, if you're drinking beer that's that bad, you want it to be so cold that you can't taste it. It would actually boost sales.
