I was going to ask this very question. I saw a post about them, on another forum, and would like to know more.

While a lot of people won't be happy that it's not available here (unless the custom shop will build one for us), I'm glad that it seems like it will be readily available for our bros overseas. Sounds like a betchin' pickup.
    My songs....enjoy! (hopefully )

Well, I don't need any more humbuckers and I'm pretty broke so I probably won't buy one but I'd just like to say....

Did anyone laugh when they repeated the name at the end?

Pretty cool. I'm actually in the UK for the rest of the year, lucky me...but if I bring some pups back across the pond I think I'll take some BKPs back. These just seem to be kinda like Antiquity PAFs and you can get those rather easily.

That said, one of the best pickup names EVER.

McCartney... isn't he more of a bass/piano guy? but then again he does most of his own music in the studio so makes sense I guess :P

It isn't as if somebody in the UK won't be selling one on eBay at some point or a UK dealer would not be willing to ship one to the US...

that clip is really terrible. All he's doing is telling how many famous guys he's met. thats it! about the humbucker: meh. whenever something's going to be 'totally exclusive' I'm losing interest. Just like those gibson's that are only available through guitar center/centre/whatever. nice axes, but you ruin it for me (and many others) by making it exclusive, so... nah. bye bye.

He plays quite a bit of guitar. Even on the Beatles records.

Paul plays lead on Taxman on his Epi Casino which matches John's original burst finish and was bought at the same time. (John's Epi as we know it from Let It Be was refinished in natural.)

From the specs that I could see on the packaging, they look very similar to the Custom Shop Jimmy Page set. There may be slight differences in the overall product, but the DC Resistances of the Whole Lotta Humbucker set match the Jimmy Page set (8.78k Bridge, 8.2 Neck). Should be a really great sounding set to pop into a Les Paul!

If you play guitar chest-high, you play from your heart.

If you play guitar waist-high, you play from your guts.

If you play guitar low, you play from your huevos.

I would to know the differences with Antiquuity. I think that Ant is clone of paf 57-58 and this are clones of 59 paf, more output. I think that it is a5.
