Default Great pickup choice for '94 PRS CE-22?

    Hey guys,

I have an older 1994 Alder body/Maple top PRS CE-22.
Right now it has the stock PRS Dragons. The bridge is hot at 19K. I have loved this guitar through every amp I have owned, never had a complaint even though you would think the Dragon bridge would be too. Only problem I had was with my recent purchase of a PWE Event Horizon, great hot rodded Marshall style amp but very sensitive to input....plus I could probably use something a little less high output in this guitar. The bridge Dragon does not clean up very well. I tried the PRS Dragon IIs, but hated the bridge pickup because it lacked the thickness and beef of the Dragon bridge.

So, I am considering the Custom/59 set or the JB/Jazz set. Any thoughts on these? I tend to like a creamy sound, somewhat dark, a little compressed but must have tight bass.

I like pickups that can make a guitar sound much larger. I am also a fan of the Rio Grande BBQ/Texas set.
    I don't know if I need F-spaced pickups for the PRS CE-22

My other guitars are all Gibson with stock Bill Lawrence "The Original" Humbuckers that came stock in late 80s on SGs and LPs.
Very creamy and even, fluid sounding! Bridge is 14.5 K.

Amps are th Ann Bogner Shiva with EL34s and PWE Event Horizon and soon a Splawn Streetrod.

    Found this article as well.
