I've moved off of adding to my pedalboard and on to fixing up my strat... which is for more hands on and I know even less about.

I just replaced the pickups but I believe I should go ahead and upgrade all the wiring to do the job right.

I was going to go to allparts or stewmac and just get a wiring strat kit but it is all pretty standard. I need at least one push/pull so I will buy individual pieces.

I need most everything but the 3 way switch.

My strat is wired with SSL-1 neck, SSL-1rwrp mid, Pearly Gates bridge.
It is a tele wiring with blend knob for the middle pup.

Are there any considerations to make before purchasing new pots? I'm assuming I should use 250k pots. But since my neck and bridge share a tone pot I didn't know if I should change pots?

Someone mentioned a Blend pot for the middle pup and that seemed like a good idea.

Anyway... I'm very green when it comes to this sort of thing. Any tips and info would be appreciated. If I need to clarify anything please let me know.
