    Default Duncan pickups with a switch?

    I bought a used bass the other day and found that the installed Seymour Duncan pickups has 3 small switches on the pickup (bottom right corner). I've never seen anything like this before, was wondering if anyone knows what pickup this would be, and what the switches are for?

    they are eq or character switches
