Hi, im new to wiring Seymour Duncans on a guitar. Ive wired emgs before though.

I have a Jackson Dremmel King V with emgs 81 and 60 that im replacing with the DMs. Im gonna wire them 2 volumes 3 ways. Theres only 2 things im not sure of, The first and pardon my ignorance but whats this for, picture: http://www.seymourduncan.com/forum/p...pictureid=2641

It reads TI 1K 250VDC

It comes with the kit, but i dont see it anywhere on the diagram and i never used it to install emgs before, although ive always used the 2 volume 3 way setup, so my hypothesis is that they are used for tones, wrong?

The other thing im not sure is my emgs had a ground behind each pup, there's no indication for this on DMLWs i wonder if its alright to leave that ground there?
