ANTIQUITY 2 MINI IS SO GOOD
I just wanted to post this thread as a tribute to the Ant 2 mini. Best clean tones ever, most microphonic pickup i've ever used, mad texture, having experience with seth neck and ant 2 surfer strat neck, this is a really cool flavor of pickup esp blues. I don't get tired of it either! Honeymoon is still going strong.

Glad to hear you dig it! Antiquity stuff is so boss, it just makes every guitar sing so much more. Cleans are so deep
I really want to get a custom shop Antiquity mini hum for my Campellone archtop. I think that would really make that guitar sing over the somewhat plasticy-sounding Kent Armstrong pup. But that's after my covered aged '78 comes for my 335...

yeah, this mini really really kills that 'compact PAF' vibe, it's just fantastic. I have found myself thinking about how awesome it would be in an archtop because of all those fantastic frequencies that really sing. I'm floored at what SD pulled off with this mini, and I'm surprised that more people dont own one.
I have the adjustable poles set up so that it mimics a staggered strat set (this complements my wound g) and the treble side is a bit closer to the strings. This pickup has zero string pull, I put it all the way up to 1mm away from the strings and no loss in sustain, it must have a very soft field.

Glad to hear it! I keep wanting to put one in the neck slot of my Tele, but I'm also considering a Firebird pickup or a low-output (or tapable) P90.

i thought about putting some of those in my 71 les paul. i'm not sure they would be much different though.
