Anyone ever try these Kent Armstrong pickups? I got a WD Music catalog and came across these Kent Armstrongs. There is an Ultra Distortion that measures 22K. Sounds nice for my tastes.

there are two kinds of KA pups, handwound versions that are very expensive and the imported ones that WD sells at a price i think is higher than it should be for a import made pup. Kents handwounds are great though!
and i always loved the hot rod vintage paf WD sells!

here is the one i always thought was a underrated monster, it is a cool variation of the legendary JB! I always thought it sounded like a JB/custom hybrid

Don't buy from Allparts you can get the same pickups on ebay for $25. The Ultra distortion is a good pickup but I prefer the epoxy potted version to the wax potted version.
