I'm looking for a high output humbucker.

One for hard rock and metal.

check out a SH-13 for the bridge.![]()
This space is for rent.

Is that the Dimebucker?

How about the metal livewire?

It looks just like an EMG. Is it supposed to compete with EMG? How does the sound compare to the EMG-81?

Dimebucker, Distortion, Invader, JB, Custom, Custom 5, Custom Custom, allthese are high output...what kind of tone are you looking for and what kind of guitar are they going iin?

Depending on what you're putting it into, Invader, Full Shred or JB.

I'm looking for the absolute highest output humbucker that duncan makes.

I'm wanting to replace the pups in my Kramer les paul custom. And I play hard rock/ meatl. And even sometimes some softer stuff.

The tone that I'm wanting is something that can throw a straight forward metal punch with good bass and good clarity. I'm basically looking for something that competes with the EMG-81.

.

stop writing a new ****ing message every 2 minutes!!!
i recommend the sh-6 distortion humbucker. i got it in my les paul and it kicks so much ass!!!!!!!!!

...

You do NOT want the live wire metal if you ever play anything less than rip your head off metal. The LW-HMET's clean tone makes an EMG sound like a freakin Seth Lover.Originally Posted by Lagotto
If you want balls out heavy, but still want a useable clean tone, try out the Invader. Of course, the JB & Distortion totally kick ass, too.

Sorry man.

I've heard that the JB/59 would be the best decision for something like the tone that I want.

I'm not that familiar with Seymour Duncan.

How about the Dimebucker?
