There are a few youtube clip out there of the Bro. One is a high gain clip and then a forum bro, Oilpit, has a really nice blues/rock tone with his. Its a meaty tone either way. It sounds really nice, and apparently it takes magnet swaps in stride like the Custom series. Izzo did the big ceramic swap and Blueman and others have gone through most of the alnicos. The UOA5 is apparently the balls in the Brobucker.

I also would love to find a used one. Not to take away from Seymour, but Zhangbucker has the Crushbucker, which may be comparable. 10.3k with your choice of magnet. Ive heard nothing but good things about Zhang.

You read correct. He has two types of winds, one he does by hand where he guides the wire ($80 per pickup) and one where he applies the wire completely by hand ($130 per pickup) He has all those cool options too. Im almost thinkning about trying a Brownbucker with the widebucker poles or the Crushbucker.

Zhang makes great pickups. I've got a PAF style h/b set (widebucker/pagey) and they sound great, a p90's set and 2 singlecoils. Highly recommended

Did you compare the pagey/widebucker to the regular pagey? Im interested in what the differences are. Seems like a cool idea but is it a noticable difference?

Yeah I'm excited. He's going to make me a slightly overwound crushbucker with UA5 and a p90 for the neck

Standard turnaround is 5-6 weeks I think, but I am very excited to give them a run! I'm excited to finish this build in general though
