I did that before haha. Vintage 1995 I think I put.
The worst one I have ever seen was Vintage 2003. It was a LP Std. but come on... wasn't even 10 years ago.
Henry David Thoreau - "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them."

Same thing with the word "plexi" for Marshalls. Of course, the only "plexi" amps are the ones with the plexiglass front and back panels, but then the whole era of the 60s and early 70s became the "plexi" era, now EVERYTHING is a plexi. I had it when I saw someone advertising one of those little solid state MG amps as a "vintage plexi" Marshall. He took that out of his ad after I emailed him, lol. Nicely, but firmly.
My songs....enjoy! (hopefully)

'Vintage' is anything that doesn't have new stickers and hang tags on it. Guitars seem to age fast these days; maybe it's due to global warming.![]()

It seems kind of weird to think that 1996 was about 16 years ago now. By some definitions that is vintage, though I think mentally something doesn't really qualify as vintage till 20-25 years... its getting there though.

in wines, vintage means just a year, not really being old, so technically, it's a fine word to use...

Yeah, those old-timey folk instruents are really commanding a premium now. Package it with a Civil War era banjo, and you've really got something for the collector. Add a Dean acoustic from all the way back in 2009, and there's no telling!
