No. Well, yes, but it doesn't quite mean what you think it means.

Every love that made me lose my reasoning. Every chord that made my conscience ache. Every day spent counting hours. Well, none of them comes close to singing back a song inside my head.

    I remember calloused hands and paint-stained jeans, and I remember safe-as-houses self-belief.

You can dismantle something, but can you 'mantle' it ?

You can be disgruntled about something, but can you be 'gruntled' ??

A character in Kurt Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle" was an elevator operator in a research facility. He wondered what exactly had been searched for, found, and then lost so that so many scientists had to look for it again.

"...It's just a song, don't mean to hurt no one...Feedom Slaves, Freedom Slaves, Feedom Slaves." Great, now that song will be stuck in my head all day. Damn ear worms!

I can be aboard, on board, or overboard; yet it's still a mystery to me as to how to go about attaining the sate of boardness

    aboard - sporting a woodie
on board - standing on a wooden deck
overboard - listening to a second Dave Mathews song.

boardness - all of the above simultaneously although A and C together seems highly unlikely.

Has anyone ever actually reached this state of "boardness" & lived to tell... (how & why)?

How does one become overwhelmed? By receiving a whelming from somewhere or someone?

    Can you become underwhelmed?
How do you lose your whelm?
How then, can you build your whelm back up?
How do you know to stop building your whelm so that you don't become overwhelmed again?

I don't mean to be politically incorrect, but isn't there something that can be done for a person when the first round of tardation is noted?

Similarly ..... as tired as years of labor have left me retirement doesn't sound all that appealing.

If a dispute is some form of argument or disagreement, is a period of calm a 'pute' ?
