I'm with Hellion here. Just come on out (see what I did there?) and say what you're saying. Are you saying that some radio station changed girl to boy?

Why would the word guy even be in the song? John Deacon wrote the song for/about his wife. The lyric is "You've stood by me girl". The lyric was not changed. That's the way it was written by John Deacon. He wouldn't write a song about his wife and call her a guy. This is a four page thread of you whining and arguing about something that there is no such thing as.
I like you, but your threads are getting stranger and stranger by the day. It might be time to get off the boat and get on a mental evaluation.

He says guy in this version

I thought he said 'goldfish'. But after listening more closely, i now think he says 'gnu'. I played it to a visitor, who thought he was saying 'camel'.
Others have told me they thought he was saying "My little turtle dove .... more like a turtle than a dove".
Lumbering dinosaur (what's a master volume control?)

After listening to several versions, I've determined that it is in fact supposed to be girl

One quick search could have saved you from even making this thread.

I dream of a better world, where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned
My lord...now we're getting offended about preventative measures taken to not offend people THAT AREN'T EVEN REAL...
That offends me...

Where's a good facepalm photo when you need one?
I don't think there is one that can fully capture the absurdity of this thread...
EDIT: but this one comes pretty close
