Default coil splitting HB103N &B pup wiring

I was hoping to wire N&B to one dpdt toggle and coil split them? is this worth doing, will i get a single coil tone that could punch with even a growl? will i get a true single coil tone. i have tried Rails, I dont hear that sngle coil there.

It wont sound like a strat, and Ive never split those particular pickups but yeah, it will be a usable mod. Especially in the middle position for clean tones - if I ever really USED clean tones I would do that with all my guitars, its a really nice sound with any pickups I've done it with.

now the tech question, with a dpdt( on-off-on) can i use one switch to do both pups, and would i split the red and white wires on each pole side?

Thats beyond me, I'm afraid, I always used push/pull pots, but yes, one switch can do both pups.
