    Default Seymour and Mighty Mite

Question for Seymour if he's got the time.. I have a set of 'mighty mite' branded 'Invaders'.. they are invaders in all respects, 5/8 inch rounded/hex pole pieces, etc.. did you ever build such pickups while oem ing mighty mites? (Wayne C think it might be so...)

If i am not mistaken the mighty mite screamer set were made to compete with the dimarzio super distortion and super 2 pickups.
they have very similar design and spec. pretty much the same except the MM's had bondable wire that when heated kept the windings from vibrating to reduce feedback> pretty cool idea considering we are talking about 1976-77
I dont know and have never seen a mighty mite invader lookin model???

The Motherbucker is a great pickup it's half way between a SD Distortion and a Dimarzio Super D. The bite and bark of the Distortion with the fuzzy grit of the Super D. They are a great value at $30 a pickup.

Many thamks .. i just needed some confirmation .. theres nothing quite like an invader and i've never seen a MM version .. though from W Charvel I got :
"Randy Zacuto, from JB Player also purchased parts from me. He hired a friend of mine named Seymour Duncan, who had been making tele three piece bridge saddles and rewinding pickups to make Mighty Mite pickups for him. A short time later, Seymour came out with his own line of pickups. We also sold those."
