In the case of the Kirei creature, within it's first three or four posts, it was asking the guys about getting breast enlargements so she/it could fit better into fashionable clothing. This of course sent the bulk of the male membership into a frenzy, and with a grand total of 8 posts, it was given The Well.

Clearly the object calling itself Kirei was playing some kind of game, and it was quite pathetic watching the responses of the males. For my money, at that point, the idiot Kirei and the equally idiotic forum members made this entire place a complete joke, although not a funny one.

That was definitely a forum low point for me in all directions. A stupid game-playing little girl (if it was a girl) and a bunch of grown men dribbling and falling over themselves, completely sucked in by an idiot.

Too many male forumites associate a female post with pole dancing.

There actually are no female musicians. Their supposed existence is just a fantasy like vacations or gravity.

There's a cute Asian chick who works the guitar dept at that L&M too. Shows about the same amount of "like staring at a concrete wall point blank" personality as the guys that work there though.

I've known quite a few female guitar players and bass players, and I can say with certainty that most of them (ALL of the ones i've met) were very serious about their playing and applied themselves with great dilligence. They didn't feel the need to have to act 'like one of the guys', and there's definitely something different about the touch and feel they bring to music, something that most males will never enjoy because of the ridiculous male sexist attitudes.

Because of their desire to improve and learn, they seek out information in places like this, they don't come looking to find guys .... they usually have perfectly good social interactions in the real world. Unfortunately it seems that the minute a female musician appears, the general male attitude is 'they want me!' Sorry, but they don't.
