    Pretty cool never heard the pine thing before... Wonder how it sounds plugged in.

    Pine didn't last long...

    The sound is more midrangey than swamp ash with less attack to the note...

    I remember reading about the pine prototypes years back. As I recall the first of the proto's even had three on a side headstocks.

    Only one or two...the classic Telecaster headstock happened very early.
