    Default Pick-up advice PLEASE HELP!

    Hey everyone,

I recently bought a fender telecaster modern plus which is a great guitar but the HB isn't the best for the punk pop/modern/hard rock that I play, I was thinking of putting an Alnico 2 Pro Slash, or a standard Alnico 2 Pro in for a better quality sound, but what would everyone here recommend? and also if I put either of those 2 pickups in would I be able to coil tap them like the current HB in this guitar can?

    Would greatly appreciate everyones advice

P.S I don't play metal, and I don't really want a metal sounding pick up, I want a pickup that can give me a nice dirty tone for a modern punk rock, i.e. All Time Low, You Me At Six, Paramore, Green Day and Blink 182, that kind of guitar sound

JB or a DiMarzio Tone Zone would be excellent choices.

New 59/Custom Hybrid would be pretty nice too from what I've found testing one right now too.

Didnt Green Day use a JB on Dookie?

Amyways, it was designed for telecasters, & its very snarly mean yet versatile. And highly recommended. & beloved.

I agree with the JB or even a Custom 5, which I've used in an ash strat for some punk sounding stuff.
    My songs....enjoy! (hopefully )

or for older stuff too, but slower downloads
