Cool!
What's up with UToob, and the hour-plus footage? If they let us mere mortals post stuff that long, Hollywood would crap the bed. Imagine how many Spielbergs and Selznicks are lurking out there...![]()

Cool stuff. I was only trying to pick the bones out of "'Cause we ended as lovers" yesterday - I think Jeff's better at it than me...

Thanks John... great stuff....

At the risk of hijacking: the OTHER ever so awesome link to a JeffBeck link interviews him about his fave guitars where he mentions SDuncan put Tele w/hb in his hands & traded for the Yardbirds staple tele.
Now the Evenly Voiced Harmonics is now a 78. & we all know why.
Now, the JB, listed as the "Jazz Blues" , ... Has rumored to be hatched from that Tele prototype- so what I'm asking is, "designed for Jeff Beck" unofficially, means " put in guitar offered as a traded gift "? Do i have that right? Cuz thats more like, "accepted by Jeff Beck".
I know Seymour & Jeff appear in JB ads together now so its a moot point. Just askin, hail to both of em

Bookmarked for later - thanks. I bought a couple of his more recent albums and didn't like them as much as Blow by Blow and Wired. I saw him years ago with Terry Bozzio on drums and Tony Hymas on keyboards. At times it was difficult to tell if you were hearing guitar or keys. Quite a disappointing gig but I like some of his more recent live stuff.

Thank u sir!

He's pretty good at guitar...

Except for the bewbie part I think I like this bass player better than the young chick.
KILLING THREADS SINCE 2007

Is Jeff trying to be a harmonica player???? or is it just me thinking to hard?
^He likes sounds.....so he plays all kinds of stuff......hope to get to see him again soon!
Not gonna miss you know!
Information is not knowledge.

Whether or not your worship at the Alter of Beck, you have to give him this: nobody does what he does. And when you think about true artistic genius, that's something they call share in common.
Thanks Jolly.
As for the origins of the JB and Jazz Model humbuckers, that is widely published. SWD made the pickups that Jeff used on the Tele-Gib on Blow by Blow's "Cause We've Ended as Lovers" and elsewhere. What's in controversy is how SWD came to own the Yardbirds Esquire. In recent interviews, Jeff says it was a trade. The story SWD has told many times is that shortly after giving Jeff the Tele-Gib, Jeff's manager, Ralph Baker, came to SWD with a canvas duffel bag filled with guitars and guitar parts and told him, "Jeff wants you to have a guitar." When SWD opened the bag, he immediately recognized the Yardbirds Esquire, even though the neck and body were separate. He said to Ralph, "Including this guitar?" And Ralph, who was in kind of a hurry, said, "Yeah, just take one."
Very different from the video interviews that have been surfacing lately. I'm sure the Truth is out there. I wonder if we'll ever know.
