I organize my cd Collection by pickup model. (...what? That's not weird.) honestly i do. And Im trying to build up my collection of cds that highlight the sound of Les Pauls with PAFs.

Bear in mind that for the Nightlife, Fighting and Jailbreak albums most of the guitar tracks were recorded with Gorham and Robertson's LP Deluxes with mini-hums. (Gary Moore's solo on the Nightlife version of Still In Love With You would be PAF though - I think). Robbo's Deluxe was modded with PAFs around the time of the Johnny The Fox album, around the same time he switched to the black Custom for live work. Gorham used the mini-hum Deluxe at least until the Bad Reputation album. Around the time of Black Rose he acquired an old PAF-loaded 'burst but was also playing Strat-style axes with 'buckers by then. Gary Moore did use a LP with PAFs but other guitars too (P90 LP junior on the Sydney live DVD if I recall correctly). Snowy White's old goldtop had PAFs (Chinatown & Renegade albums). Phew...
