Why does it have to sound SO good and be SOOOO expensive?!

I heard a demo of this pedal and I thought "I must have this delay!!"
...Until I saw the price. Yikes! $700 for a pedal?

That's crazy! But I would so do it...

Anyways, does anyone know of an awesome and tweakable delay? Been looking at the Carbon Copy for a while...
Any advice? I'm open to tons of suggestions.
(Preferably not too expensive +/-$100 but I might spring for more)
