Default Super Distortion With Alnico V

I have an Explorer knock-off that has two DiMarzio Super Distortions in it, sounds awesome. I love the pickups in that guitar and I'm going to keep them. I was wondering, what would a Super Dist. with an alnico V in the neck sound like? Warmer? I've taken crappy stock pups apart to see how they're made before so if $5+s&h plus a little of my time will get me a better sounding neck pup then hell yeah.

Does anyone know what magnets come in the Ibanez PSND1/PSND2, ESP LH-150 B/N or EPI 700T? I have those stock pickups for spares/doodling. If one of those have an alnico V mag in it I'll put it in the Super Dist. and see if I like it before spending money. I can't find specs on them, problably because they're cheap stock p/u's and everyone throws them away.

The Super Distortions can get sort of loose sounding with anything other than it's large ceramic mag depending on the guitar and rig.
