Are P-90's "Punchier" than a Hot humbucker?

I always describe p90's as having more "cut" than a humbucker and fatter than any strat single.

They are just unique pups. and I love them.

The way that P90s and humbuckers sound depends upon how you amplify them. I employ P90s for a very specific quality of overdrive through valve amplification set for Crunch rather than mega gain. Everything else is in the hands of the individual player.
