Depends alot on the pup and the guitar, but I like .022 (sometimes .015).

the one that is going to be meant to play rock is going to have the alnico pro slash aph2 and i want it to sound great, it's being custom built, the other one(a epiphone special ii) is going to take a pair of entwistle hv58(sorry if i shouldn't be saying this here)

Seriously, try the .0022uf. I was just playing a 2H solidbody, .0022uf cap rolled all the way down and it sounded for all the world like an L5. F'ing gorgeous, fat, round, delicate, articulate clean tone.
If you use light strings and a bright rig, you might go as high as .0047uf. I never go higher than that on anything anymore. I need a fat but articulate tone, anything larger sounds to me like my amp is burried under the basement. Articulation and mix-cutting ability are gone.
I will use 0.022 in both but i'm considering using a pio in the special II, because i read that they make the sound rounder/fatter(maybe the vitamin t) and using good old orange caps in the one with the Pro Slash. What do you think?
No, I absolutely meant .0022uf and .0047uf. .022uf and .047uf sound like a muddy mess to me. Seriously, try it. You'll see what I mean.Don't you mean .022uf and .047uf? The values you listed are really small.

This is what ya want.

Heavy Metal - gain on 10 - screaming about something.

that would be a good idea hadn't I already ordered two cts pots for the Special II(unfortunately it only has two, is it possible to change it to four?) and four for the custom built LesPaul., right now i have to choose the make and type of the caps . Besides i'm not from the usa i'm from the other side of the atlantic ocean, more exactly from Portugal

I'd get the .022uf and .015uf caps.

0.22 for the custom and .015 for the special II? isn't .015uf too low?

I'd use the .022uf on the bridge slash pickup and the .015uf on the neck pickup.

thanks, and on the other one?
By the way what caps should i use in the treble bleed?
I understand your reluctance to help. Thanks nonetheless

Sorry I haven't checked back in. Personally I'm not sure what to use for the treble bleed. I have the slash pups and know what sounds good on them.

I ordered one luxe bumblebee.015 and a .22 for the guitar that is getting the alnico ii Pro Slash, so i'm really curious about how it will sound..
From your experience what do you think about them?
