Anyone here have a Blackstar HT1? I know a few guys with HT5s and I'm just curious as to weather or not it's worth the extra bucks to go with an HT5 for a knockaround amp.....

I thought that was what Jolly had, but I could be wrong.
EDIT: nope, he's got a pair of HT-5's

I dream of a better world, where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned

Check page 5 for my thoughts on the ht1.
I'm an internet person. All we do is waste time evaluating things that have next-to-zero real world significance.

Tried one. Went with a Fender Mustang I instead.
It sounded fine clean, but the high gain mode sounded terrible. No definition or clarity at all. It reminded me of the "Supersat" mode on my Peavey Rage 108.

Tried the combo through a Dean 4x12. Monstrous!
No headroom at all, but the tone was just brutal.
Ibanez SZ320 / A2 Pro neck, Screamin' Demon bridge.
AllParts Strat / Toneriders Pure Vintage set
Partscaster #2 / JB-8 bridge.
Egnater Tweaker 15 + DIY 1x12 cab + Eminence Wizard / Roland Cube 60
Zvex Super Duper, EHX Memory Toy, Keeley BD2, Boss GE-7, CE-2, DD-5, Marshall Jackhammer, EHX Metal Muff TB.
The HT-1 is a fun little amp. Loved the one I reviewed. Sounds best through a 12" speaker, but the little 8" is ok.
