See how the middle is more yellow? Kinda like a wierd burst. I think the gold goes perfect with the yellow background. Chrome or black would stick out like a sore thumb.

I'd say it'd look a lot cooler with black hardware and a black ebony fingerboard to match but still, it's purdy as hell. Never understood why Gibson don't offer a few sahdes of green as standard, their greens have always been beautiful.

If the guitar had a black outer edge then black hardware would look nice. Personally I hate gold, Too bling-bling for me, but without any other black on there there wouldn't be anything to tie it all together, just all the colors marching to their own beat (I took WAY TO MANY art classes!).

Too gaudy, especially those abalone inlays, ugh.

They should've made it 24 frets, instead of that stupid piece of plastic between the fretboard and pu they're wont to put on small guard SGs.
