Default Hb-102s too dark in Schecter

I just bought a Peavey Valveking a couple weeks ago. Great amp but the only problem is the Hb-102s in my C1 elite aren't giving the output and treble I like. I've tweaked it as much as possible but it I can't get a tone I like out of my schecter(and it's kept me happy since I bought it in 03.) The neck pickup gets really nasal sounding on the distortion channel, especially with the built in boost off, and the bridge pickup is as close to the strings as I can get it but it still doesn't have that little bit of oomph I need. I'm not one to go and change pickups in a guitar, but since this is bothering me so much I'll stick with duncans since that's one Schecter originally put in it. I'm open to a suggestion for any pickup company. Thanks!

I mainly play metalcore and djent, so I need something to fit the ground in between, but I also need good cleans.
