jackson SL2H tomorrow :) pickup swap

Well tomorrow is a big day for me. I was told this axe stayed in tune real well, I hope this is true worse case Ill make alittle block out of some wood.
My question is the SD pickup that come in the jackson, I like them and have them in a Epi. I Have have a SH-13 that I might drop in. I think thats what Dime used 4 a bit with the 59 in the neck, but I could be wrong. I also have a
SD AHB11S Gus G Fire Blackouts set. Any thoughts?

Isn't it a JB that will be in your SL2? Why would you be thinking of changing it? I have one in my SL3 and it's perfect.

Good the the Epi. just maybe not going 2 b the tone I want in a higher gain amp. 6505+, and or a VOX AC30 with the Epi. (sorry for the confusion)

I think I will leave in the SD that came with the SL2H, soulds insain. I have the same pick ups in a Epi, and it sound nothing like the Jackson. again same pickups 2 differant guitars.

The JB in my SL3 was what started me buying replacement pickups for all my other guitars.

My SL3 actually had a Distortion in it when I bought it, for some reason. It was a great sound but a little too modern for my taste, plus I wanted to get used to the guitar in its factory configuration. So I bought a JB for it and sold the Distortion. Seven years later, a lot has changed on that guitar, but the JB is still there. Bottom line, it's a matter of taste.
