He's paid his debt to society, so I'm not gouing the route of the wisecracks. Being an Ex-Convict deosnt necessarily mean he's trying to rip you off, any more than being a citizen with a clean record means that someone Isnt trying to rip you off , or rob you .
Maybe he needs money,and that the guitar case means so much to him , being one of his few prized possesions on the inside, that he's thinking its worth that to someone else; maybe..not likely, but i can see him thinking that.
