    Default Prometheus was awesome...

    But this made my day!

The Timmy is awesome. It's exactly what I've been looking for in an overdrive. All that remains is to see how it works in stacking applications, but I have faith it will be great. And the Surf Green is just icing on the cake.

I could almsot try and score my dream Civil War Muff for a trade.
Anyway, I know that Timmy is great casue everyone loves thers, even more so than the King of Tone as far as I have been able to find out. Congrats.

And I thought you'd take that badly. Haha

Try a little less than that - around $300. People may list them on ebay at $400, but you'd have to be stupid to buy one that expensive.

I got my Timmy new for $140.

Interesting. I saw a few on The Gear Page for a little over $300.

I got my Timmy from Humbucker Music. They're the only ones who have them in the Surf Green.

I was put off by this statement a little bit too. If that's true then I NEED to get a Timmy.

    Nice pedal score...

As for the Tim(my) vs KoT I think that both are cool pedals and with some careful tweaking I think that the KoT can sound a lot like a Timmy but not the other way.

As for the used prices both are stupid on the used market because most folks just refuse to wait the required amount of time...

Nice score, those Seafoam Timmy's look pretty sweet.

Definitely experiment with pedal order with the Timmy. I find it works great after other OD's as an overall tone shaper. And it is the best pedal to stack with EVER.

And what happened to the Ego Comp?

Yeah, I really like the shade of Surf it is.

I'm pretty happy with the way I have it currently. I can use it to get a bit more gain out of my backed off fuzz face tone, and similarly for my Foxey Lady. I use it as more of a gain boost to my other pedals. However, it does sound EXCELLENT on its own for a low gain OD.

I sold the EGO - it was a great pedal, I just don't really have a need for a compressor. It's not so bad though - I got it on one of PGS's sales, so I only lost like $15 on it.
