    Default New fave combo C5/59 4-wire w/split

I put this setup in my Epi Wilshire and it just kills.

I have never been a big fan of higher output pickups but this pickup was so made for this guitar and it splits better than any bucker I have used before with the exception of the CC.

Oh yeah rough cast mags swapped in

I've used that Duncan combo more than any other humbucker set.

LP's, McCarty, even a tele. All of them splittable.

Sounds great in just about everything, and really fattens up thin bodied all mahogany guitars like SG's.
The Wilshire is mahogany, isn't it?

The Wilshire is mahogany, an Asian type I am sure.

It is just one of those dumb luck guitars, the thing is a MF'er. I had 2 gave one to my son to have at college, real good playing and sounding but didn't quite compete with this one. Got a PG/BB1 set in that.
