Default Which Stratocaster Pickguard & Knobs?

I have a black Strat and i'm trying to decide between a NOS Black Bakelite Pickguard from AxeCreations.com or an Aged White Bakelite Pickguard from RetroSpec-Guitar.com? Which knobs to go with the Bakelite Pickguard; 50s Strat Bakelite Knobs from RetroSpec-Guitar.com or '54 Miniskirt Kobs and Tips from RetroSpec-Guitar.com? Photo of Bakelite Pickguard Strats to show the difference?

The '54 spec white parts are slightly different from anything that came later but, unless you are restoring a damaged original guitar, it is not worth obsessing over.

Fifties Fender Stratocasters never came with black scratchplates. The only reason that I could imagine wanting one is for the David Gilmour signature Stratocaster look.

In that guitar, you could do any of the four combos, and it would look good.

    Black/aged white, Aged white/black, black/black, or aged white/aged white.

I know that doesn't help, but is it a maple neck or rosewood?
