Default Are these SSL-1 hand wound?

A guy won them in a Seymour D conference, they told him they were hand wound by MJ. They came in a transparent box, no signature, they say SSL-1 and the only difference I see is that the wires come out at the ends instead of the middle.
The dude is a bass player and wants to sell them but doesn’t know what they are worth, any help is appreciated, thanx.

They are the three black ones to the left, the white one is a Squier.

if you by 'handwound' mean that every turn of wire is put on
    by hand, then no

Custom Shop SSL-1's might be worth a tad more than stock SSL-1's but w/o proof it doesn't matter.

Someone around here may know the significance of the wires coming out of the end as opposed to the middle. I have not seen that before.
Even run of the mill ssl-1 set is priceless to the right person.

Yeah, that’s what got my attention. Unfortunately none of the pups were Reverse Pole (magnet wise), although I couldn’t tell if it was RW.

Those pickups were wound on the bobbins for what comes on non vintage pickups like an SSL-5 for example...they are useful for some types of guitars that don't have guardplates (rear routed guitars) and for if someone wants to flip them upside down for the reverse stagger Jimi thang...

    Learned something!

If it is an ssl-1 set wound on the modern bobbins, would that probably come from the custom shop?
