Midnight Munchie Attck!

Yikes! had to drive down to the Corner Gas Station and Conveninece store and get a "Bomb"( 1/2 pound of the most delicious and disgusting stuff youve even stuffed down your gullet), a Corn Dog, and a Eggroll.

Ya dont wanna to be anywhere near ground zero of my toilet bowl tomorrow morning.;

I had some soup.... chicken chunks, black beans, white and brown rice, corn, peppers, onions, and some taco soup seasoning stuff... mexican soup basically.

Ugh. I seriously gotta dig out my gas mask for tomorrow. Beans, cheese , Chile, Cabbage, Corndog..this can't be good.

I just got done cooking steaks for everyone about an hour ago. We worked on moving chickens and pens all day from my partners farm over to my place since I bought his half out. He had a new kid a couple months ago and his wife has lost her job and he is working extra OT, so he was ready to get out. I'm so damned tired I ate about 4 bites off mine and called it quits.

I often get the late night munchies too, as a result of my late night visits to my garage *wink wink*

But it's getting harder to find munchie food because I cut all that disgusting food out of my diet.
No fried food, no bread, no candy, no pop, no chips nothing like that.
So it's been mostly Rice Crispies and whatever fruit is in the fridge.
My arse and my waistline thank me in the morning though.

Ya agotta admit, the woman who deep fryed those did a perfect job. Sometimes they are all oily from the oil not being hot enough, or they taste bad and look ugly cause the oil is all old and nasty, but these were done masterfully. Thats why I got them, and they had just been fried and put out before the heat lamps could burn them up.
You'll rarely see this kind of good bad food!
By the way, the Bomb is 1/2 pound of crispy fried tortilla ( pronounced like "flotilla") loaded with Chile, Cheese and beans, but the consistency was pretty pleasing, mostly like Chile, and it tasted awesome.
The Corn dogs usually are either doughy, burnt up, or the dog inside is cold and underdone, but this Corndofg was the Pefect Corndog- crispy , not cooked to fast and burnt, and not doughy, and the dog was cooked and hot.
The Eggrolls are usually all greasy, but this one was crispy, and cooked just right. Contents werer not oily and were hot and tasty.
I won't be making a habit of this, but man, once in a great while its just hits the spot!

I've had a few of those bombs. Overpriced but damn good once you slather the ***** in Texas Pete and sour cream.
