I have to admit, this sounds highly racist. I'm offended and I'm not even Black. You shouldn't have used "Black" and "finally" in the same sentence. I'll rephrase it for you:
Much better! I even corrected all your misspelling too! You're welcome!

Ya know, if I didn't have to be at work and do other things, I'd probably drive down to So Central, TX and smack you upside the head, Jerry. Just stop, please.

Ya know, I really wish I could figure out why I find Jerry's obvious troll threads to be entertaining. Usually, I don't have much patience for trolls, but I like Jerry.
This thread made me lol.
I got society's blood running down my face...

You know, I was worried about this, but I run my 335 through a Bogner Uberschall, and I've not noticed any real problems. It is easier to get feedback out of it than my solid bodies, but not annoyingly so. It's more of a "its there when you want it" situation, rather than "I constantly have to fight to control it."

I think the Les Paul is the most overrated guitar of all time. It's a great guitar, but I think the Strat did more for Rock and Roll and Heavy Metal than the Les Paul ever did.

I clicked on this expecting to see "PRS" or something, not 335.
Plywood?
I'd ask WTF is wrong with you, but I stopped concerning myself a while back.
Ya got to admit, if someone gave you that 335 in the pic, you're first thought would probably be "I need a lighter and some lighter fluid, this thing must be burnt to ashes !"
As a player, one needn't worry oneself too much about whether it has anything to offer : if you see it, burn it. Quick and easy. I appreciate the OP pointing this out, as many players out there aren't aware of this issue and it needs to be broadly known.

I know it's a 355. But if someone is saying "335" to refer to a type of guitar that has a certain set of basic features (maple block, plywood body), as is being done in the OP, the 345's and 355's are included. All they are are higher trim levels of the 335. Chuck Berry used all three models at various times. ("One per year; tax deductible.")
That said, 1) Berry's greatness had absolutely nothing to do with which guitar he played, and 2) he has sucked for nearly 50 years anyhow. I just thought it was a badass photo of the King of Rock-n-Roll playing a Gibson thinline semi-hollow.
Trying to remember what he used back in the 50s ... ES-350D or a ES-5? Probably both.
