I feel like that special is the type of guitar, where once you have it, you are kinda set. It's nice enough that it will always be appropriate, but it has the look of a workhorse that you can bring to any gig. Pure class.

Believe me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

Truth - especially if it has the '50s wiring circuit.
Mine has pretty much become the only electric I need. It covers Tele tones convincingly, can grok humbucker sounds, also cops a decent faux-acoustic at certain settings. Clean or dirty, this thing is about as perfect a guitar as I've ever owned.
Email is best - please do not PM me for biz-related questions, thanks!

My 1990 Standard! All blacked out. I removed the guard, added a black tip switch & pickup rings, pickup selector ring & a pair of Slash Alnico II pickups! She is very sweet!
This is a Gothic Studio & a "Before" pic of my Standard! Love the Standard. I find the pickups in the Studio to be a bit too hot!

I love the black switch tip. The pic makes the rings look chrome, which is a look I LOVE and would look great with your chrome hardware.
How do you like the Slash pups?? Im looking for a set of pups for one of mine and am considering Slash's, Joe B's or hybrids.
Ladies and Gents, some BEAUTIFUL toys in this thread!!

This should be arriving in a couple days, if you include it as a real Les Paul.
