Default Which APH-1 in the neck?

Hi, which APH-1 pickup would I choose in the neck of a bright sounding Les Paul Custom to pair with a Super Distortion in the bridge?

Would I need the APH1-B to match outputwise?
Is the APH1-N voiced brighter than the APH1-B?

The result must not be too dark, just smooth and full-bodied and about equal volume as the Super Distortion (of course I can play with the heights).

    Thanks for the replies.

The answer is yes to all your questions.

The APH-1b would work in your neck and give a fuller sound, more mids, and has slightly more output than the APH-1n.

The APH-1n is voiced brighter than the APH-1b.

You know what'd be great? Alnico II Pro Slash Bridge model in the neck.

Thanks guys, why is the Slash in the bridge great? Because of extra mids?

Yes. Slash bridge in the neck has more mids, plus more output.
