True, but don't let that stop us.

I'm gonna add all of Kerry King solos from Reign in Blood

Of all the riffs I've learned over the years, "Still of the Night" has got to be my favorite. Not my favorite song, but the baddest riff ever, IMHO.

Check out the alternate version of its B side. Greatest solo ever played, hands down.

I don't know as much about any other genres than I do about rock/metal/punk. I'm sure there is some other classic riffs that I don't know about.

    In No Particular Order:

The Police - Message In A Bottle
Ralph McTell - Streets Of London
    Tenacious D- The Metal
Anthrax - A Skeleton In The Closet
Judas Priest - Hell Bent For Leather
    The Beatles - Helter Skelter
Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face
    Danzig: Am I Demon
    Led Zepplin - Kashmir
    Slayer - Angel Of Death
    Metallica - Whiplash

This thread is supposed to be for fun so ragging on each others taste and saying someone has "no sense" is bloody annoying and stupid.

Human is IMO Death's best. I prefer his older vocal style, and the less technical approach. "Human" was kinda the transition between the styles and it's just awesome. You can't go wrong though, they're ALL great albums!

    That's not good enough.

Everyone should at least own Leprosy - it has "Pull the Plug", "Choke On It" and "Open Casket" on it!!
