I will probably never understand Hollywood celebrities. They're so eccentric and superficial that I don't understand how they can survive. Some of them live so long you wonder what their secret is, like Kirk Douglas, jeez. Even some of them who seem relatively grounded like Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn, who apparently didn't need marriage to have a life-long union, eventually split up with some form on controversy.

I heard read somewhere that before Tom Cruise ever became famous, he stalked baseball legend Tommy Lasorda to the point where a restraining order was issued or something like that. I can't remember where I read it but it was a credible news article from what I can remember. An quick Internet search doesn't produce it, but I'll try to find it later.

Anyway, if that was true then Cruise had some major issues long before becoming captain Scientology. Still, Tom Cruise did the Last Samurai which is one of my favorite movies and I think he's an incredible actor. I don't understand his fascination with Katy Holmes, but I never figured that would last past a few months. I'm quite surprised it lasted this long.

Yeah it was too much on my 27". I actually found her less attractive being that close up.

I'm still mad she wasn't in the Dark Knight and I had to look at that beast Maggie Gyllenhaal. I hate when they change actors for the characters in sequels like that.

Yeah it was the same character. She was offered the role and turned it down. I heard it was partially Tom's (Cruise) pressuring her out of it, and that she didn't have time filming another movie and having to raise their kids. I blame Tom Cruise though....the most overrated actor of all time.

Top Gun sucked! Yeah that's right, I said it. It SUCKED!
