    Default Combination with Tone Zone

Hi boys, I have a superstrat with a basswood/maple top body and alder/rosewood neck.

I buyed a Barfuss HSH set, but I'm not falling in love with this. I have sell the bridge pickups and it is replaced with Tone Zone... the pickups is very good, very defined bass and little high (I hate many high on bridge pickup).

Now I find a right combination with Tone Zone for the neck pickups.

I would to get a Humbucker From Hell because I love a bright pickups on neck, but I don't know if is it the best combination with Tone Zone.

PAF pro is too powerfull, prefer a low output pickup on the neck.

Isn't Air Norton too much dark for my taste? I would a more bright pickup...

I would say Jazz, but it would be a night and day difference between that and the Tone Zone. I don't think it would balance well.

I don't really see how a super bright neck pickup of any kind would mesh well with the Tone Zone.

    HFH, or maybe Double Whammy.

Get the Humbucker From Hell and be happy.

I've paired it with a Tone Zone and it was great.

It's the most bass-less pickup I've ever tried. Dimarzio's model number is DP150. It's not a regularly stocked production pickup, but you can find them on E-Bay.

Most people say that it's very heavy on the mids, it seemed really bright to me.

probably I'll get a PAF pro.. I think that a too different type of pickup don't mix well with TZ.

If you like the Tone Zone, the PAF pro meshes very well with it and has a similar AAWWW mid range sound.

Yes. I have decided to install a push/pull pots to split the pickup too...
