The guitar that you are claiming to be "obviously the same", has 2 pickups and a tone. Not only does the Tom Delonge only have 1 pickup and no tone, the Volume is put in a different spot. This to me scream that someone got cheated here. Put an invader in the bridge, and then disconnect the tone pot and the neck pup, and you might have something resembling the same guitar.
