    Thanks again guys.

Ok, silly questions time. This does not seem to bug me, like it does some, but the Echotone is 25.5 scale length. 335's are not are they? Is that the "get around" on making them? Not sure what made me check that but for some reason that thought came to me to look at that as I was playing it a few minutes ago.

Good acoustic sound to it. When I checked the pickups I saw it has a 1/4 inch top at the neck pickup area.

I dig how every guitar inspires new ways or things to play. I was riffing on the intro to Bastille Day and I bet I have not played that in a long time. Might be the first riff I attempted to ever learn back in 1976-1977. Life IS Good!

Cream plastics on a Thinline in any finish other than Goldtop would be geh.

Nice guitars. I have one that will be hitting the block shortly as I just don't play it anymore (getting a real 335 may be responsible for that). I just never could bond with the skinny neck, and I've always preferred ABR-1s on semi-hollows. Pretty minor nits to pick on what is overall an awesome guitar for the money.

Great guitar. I'd go with black tophats or speedknobs on that. Or change to all cream plastics. All black or all cream would both look fine.

Thanks gents. Yeah it looks good as it is for now. The all cream appeals to me but I have a few like that. The guitar looks orange-yellow on my monitor but to the eye it is more yellow. The cream would look better but it stay as is for now.

Just so you know, I have one just like that and it just about took dynamite to get the nut off of it. It took a piece of finish off of the headstock when it finally came off. Just a word of warning before you launch into it. I love mine and I'm sure that you'll love yours, too.

Sorry, bros. Astro has Iceman-ed us again. He is now off on a Les Paul versus Gretsch trip. http://www.seymourduncan.com/forum/s...71#post3231571 Judging by his ill-judged choice of photographs, Astro has also gained an "admirer".

Absolutely gorgeous. I didn't even know Hamer made a 336-type guitar.

Btw, you owe me $0.38 for using my patented fence shot:

Thinking about passing this on to a new owner.

Had a cat that wanted it but changed his mind and now I'm leaning towards moving it.
