For a SSL-5, where do the low poles go?

Recently purchased a staggered SSL-5. The instruction sheet says nothing about where to orient the low poles. Are these placed under the low E and A strings or under the high B and E strings? Appreciate any input. Thank you.

usually the lowest pole would be under the B string. some do like to flip them for the hendrix thing but the "proper" way is low under the skinny strings
