    Default Musclebucker

Anybody tried a Dommenget Musclebucker? Or should I ask, does anyone have the money to try one? I inquired about it and found out they are $277.00 plus $22.94 for shipping. I want to try one but geez, that's a lotta moolah, ha ha. They are really hot (20k!) and tight with a lot of punch, attack, and bite (according to the description).

Dommenget guitars are very rare over here in the US, so I don't think you'll find anyone that tried their pickup

I'd love to try one, as it's Rudy, and Matthias's favorite pickup, and I'm a HUGE Scorpions fan!

Sounds kinda like an Ironman, which is pretty much the best pickup ever.

Who makes the Ironman? I'm not familiar with it.

20K ohms? No thanks. Almost $300...not even a consideration. What if you don't like it? That's a lot of great PU's, easily available, at a fraction of that, especially in the used market, that will give as good or better tones. This is pure folly.

20K+ of 44 is awesome Rick, even you would probably dig it.

I have a Musclebucker in the bridge of one of my guitars. It is a very hot but surprisingly open sounding and clear humbucker. I like it.

Haussel pickups are another German maker that is excellent
