    Question Google Chrome issue

Over the last week I've had to change my Chrome settings three times. It keeps adding a search page tab when I open the program. It has added two different ones with which I am unfamiliar and I DID NOT add. The first time it replace my home page.

I've run MB Antimalware and Antispyware multiple times. I use Avast free version for AV protection.

    Dell XPS hardware.

I suspect an invasion of some type yet have not pinpointed it.

    Suggestions?

Edit: I just tried opening FF and it won't start. I haven't used it since I switched over last year.
Edit2: I just opened IE. It would not open from the start menu. I opened it from the program folder and it opened to searchnu.com. That's one of the search pages that Chrome switched over to.

This is especially annoying because I do MOST of my browsing on mobile devices these days. There are FEWER opportunities for malware to get through to my system.

Thanks. That link identified how it occurred as well. I DID download a couple of mp3 converters recently.
