I have all the respect in the world for those who seek out gems, and make them lifetime keepers. That's what that guitar should be. It's almost a crime to flip sweet ones like that. Hang onto that one!

I agree wholeheartedly and have every intention of keeping it for life. It really is a rare gem. It sounds as awesome as it looks. As I stated before it sparkles yet sings at the same time.

Nice choice! My '98 Hollowbody Spruce is the one PRS I've decided to keep. If you love the sound of a good hollowbody PRS makes some really good stuff.

That's a good example of how good a guitar can be, as done by PRS.

I would definitely make that a main player for life. Rather than being a case queen, use it till it's worn out!

I hope I log on the SD forum when I'm 60 and see that same guitar tarnished, patina'd, and on it's second set of frets. That would make me happy for some reason.

I guarantee that you'll see my guitars, which were photographed all shiny many years ago, just like that. You'll see all my keepers all worn out.

I want to use it as one of my main players but, at the same time I want to keep it looking pristine as long as possible.

I don't blame you. That is one sweet guitar.

The first ding hurts the most. Then it gets easier from there.

57/08TM. It's the model of pick ups. 1957/2008. The Red one says 53/10TM. Both sets od pick ups sound wonderful. I am also tempted to buy the fender amp I tried purple on when I first picked her up at guitar center. It was tweed covered and if I am not mistaken I think it was a blues deluxe.

Thanks for sharing in my elation of owning this guitar. PRS is one of the best guitar makers out there right now. I am convinced that they deserve their share of the market, and more. I still want an SC-58 some day. I am planning on insuring the PRS guitars I now own. Purple her I will have to insure for 15,000 as I would have to replace her with a private stock model to get another one with that nice of flamed maple. Would love to see a pic of your custom 24.
