Question It's been a while... Is it maybe time again?

I'm going to throw the suggestion out to ask the kind folks at Seymour Duncan if we can do another special run User Group pickup.

I've been playing single coils a lot for the first time in my life now for about 2ish years and would love a tasty noiseless single...

    Thoughts?

anything you can't do on a Les Paul is because you haven't practiced enough or you don't rock hard enough.

I'd be interested to try out a pickup like the firebird but retrofitted for full size HB.

    Filtertrons in humbucker housings!

'59s in P90 sized housings (hello Gibson tribute series)!

    Tele bridge pickup sized P90!

I would buy all 3 of those!

Am I weird for thinking about a vintagey wind with mismatched coils with a magnet other than an A2 or a regular A5?

Just about any conventional humbucker or single you can dream up can be ordered from just about anybody. If it's a real forum custom, let's have it be CUSTOM, you know?

I don't own humbucker guitars anymore, and dont plan on buying any in the future, but this could sway me. Love those CC pups.
I'm an internet person. All we do is waste time evaluating things that have next-to-zero real world significance.

I like the idea of the CC pickup in a humbucker housing or the Filtertron style. A P-90 sized Iommi would be cool, but just because I want a wicked hot P-90 just to say I have one lol.
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

We can do another special run SDUGF Custom Shop pickup. You all just need to come to agreement as to what it should be.

    Awwww yeah!
Hard Rock - gain on 5 - singing about good times.

Heavy Metal - gain on 10 - screaming about something.

How does this work then? Personally I've got a desire for something in the single coil line.
