    This is my newest one and for right now I guess it would be my #1. A Warmoth build that turned out perfect! Body is alder, neck is wenge on goncalo alves, vintage SD neck pup and Broadcaster in the bridge. Thomastik-Infeld flatwound 10-44 strings.

    I have a couple that are at the top of my list, but this one probably gets the most play. It just looks, feels, and sounds great. Its an '04 Gibson V with WCR Godwood/Darkburst pickups. The aging and wear is natural from use.

    This is Sapphire. She was custom made for me by a local luthier and sports a C5 & SD Custom Shop Hot '59 wound by MJ! Plays better than anything else I've laid my hands on

    And if you wanted a more production type guitar, this is Alex, my number 2. He's a Gibson Traditional Pro Explorer with a Burstbucker 3 & '57 Classic. I love his tone!

    2008 Feb. Guitar of the Month. The best SG ever made. It has a C5/Burstbucker 1, and a bone nut installed by one of LA's best luthiers, Paul Flynn. I either have this in my hand or one of my many Fender strats or teles.

    Too many planks and solid body jazz guitars in this thread .

    For him who struck thy foreign string,
    I ween this heart hath ceased to care;
    Then why dost thou such feelings bring
    To my sad spirit - old Guitar?

    Even so, Guitar, thy magic tone
    Hath moved the tear and waked the sigh;
    Hath bid the ancient torrent moan
    Although its very source is dry.

    There was a used one of those in GC Pasadena a few months back. I was Jonesing for it pretty badly. Hot looking guitar, in an ugly sort of way.
