If I base this on quantity of play, I've listened to more Floyd and in greater frequency than Zeppelin.

Definately Zeppelin. I've always found Pink Floyd to be boring.

Love Zeppelin and they are awesome live but for me the only album I really enjoy every song on is Led Zeppelin I with Houses Of The Holy second and Zep II third. But dark side of the moon and Wish You Were here as albums make shivers goes through every part of me. Zeppelin I can put a few songs on and love them as songs and their concerts (especially Song Remains The Same) are awesome but hands done Pink Floyd. Also I lvoe the production value and sounds of floyd whereas Zeppelin not quite as much.

I love Zeppelin, but Pink Floyd because every reason ever.
Every love that made me lose my reasoning. Every chord that made my conscience ache. Every day spent counting hours. Well, none of them comes close to singing back a song inside my head.

    I remember calloused hands and paint-stained jeans, and I remember safe-as-houses self-belief.

I picked Floyd... no doubt in my mind they were a much better band Live. In the Studio I think Led Zepplin did some great stuff, but for me it was overshadowed by the fact that much of it was either borrowed or stolen!

I have some pretty memorable, albeit fuzzy memories of listening to Pink Floyd and doing a little drawing/staring at wallpaper/thinking I might never come down/OHMYGODTHEGUITARISTALKINGMAN moments with the Floyd.

Zeppelin really got me into guitar work and grooves.

    I cant decide.

I can remember thinking Zeppelin was cool as a kid. I mean come on stairway and kashmeir (yes I know it's spelled wrong, don't remember the spelling and it's late) are classics for certain. My first experiance with Pink floyd was "Dark side of the moon" when I was 10 years old. I was just absolutely awestruck!!! I had never heard music like that before and was just blown away. So it's Floyd hands down. I also would have to say that I prefer David Gilmours playing over Pages. Just my opinion.

I never really cared for either. Maybe it was because they were well before my time. They just bore me when they come on the radio compared to other iconic bands. I love everything from Southern rock, blues to metal and shred, but I always wondered why those two bands were so popular.

I can't make a choice between these two, because they're so very different in so many ways. I'll elaborate if someone asks, but you're comparing apples to tractors.

Hard to choose, as these are two of my three favorite bands, but would pick Led Zeppelin--mainly because their musical catalog covers a lot more ground in terms of different moods and styles.

Easy, Floyd. I have two turntables and DSOTM is never taken off the right hand deck. All the 70's stuff I love to the point of lunacy. Not so keen on the Sid era stuff and the same for the 80's stuff - as the production drives me nuts and the synth work and synth pick up sounds date it way too much.
