My preference in the double PA was because of the lessened string pull, after all, the neck pu is at a much more crucial point than the bridge (hence why it is substantially lower).
However I do agree that to a neck pu, adjustability is key.
A Blade design doesn't really allow itself to that which is why it's more often used in a bridge pu.
I am not gonna shoot it down before it's done though, the Crazy 8 started as a combination of crazy specs (hence the name) and turned out to be one of my most favorite pus to date.
This pu is not going in that Strat though (she's HSS) so I am interested in being suited to a Mahogany or Alder bodied Superstrat...
